Kenneth Lee Huff, age 57, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at his cabin in the mountains outside Johnson City, Tenn. He was born in May 1960 in Newport News, Va. to Bob and Karla Huff. He was a 1978 graduate of Floyd County High School. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from Thomas Edison State College. He was employed at Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Paducah, Ky. for 9 years and NFS in Erwin, Tenn. for 16 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Virginia Huff, Sr. and Roscoe and Reba Redman. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Huff; two sons, Andrew and Henry Huff; step-daughter, Cynthia Karnes; step-son, Michael Karnes; and step-grandson, Jay. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Neal and Valerie Huff; sister, Jodie Huff; brother and sister-in-law, Doug Huff and Terri Welch, and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life was held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in Jonesborough, Tenn. At Ken's request, his body will be cremated and his ashes scattered at various locations that were dear to his heart.
