Jake Watters had the good stuff Tuesday night in Bastian.

The junior led the Bears to a 9-4 win over visiting George Wythe, powering through six innings of work on the hill. Watters struck out six and allowed just three hits. Watters helped the cause with a bat, too, getting a pair of hits for the night.

The Bears put together a 15-hit attack against the Maroons. Cole Harless provided three of them, Anthony Clemons picked up a pair and Collin Grady had two. Cameron Jackson drove in three runs off two hits.

Josh Devine led George Wythe, providing the Maroons with a pair of RBIs.
