Lauren Earls of Richlands and Lydia Lambert of Tazewell were named to the first team all Southwest District Girls’ Basketball team.

District Champion Va. High and runner up Lebanon captured top honors on the squad with Amaya Lee of the Bearcats and Averie Price of the Pioneers sharing player of the year honors.  Kevin Timmons of Va. High and Rex Parker of Lebanon shared coach of the year honors.

Lee was joined on the first team by her teammates Jada Campbell and Taylor Owens.  Lebanon had Kara Long on the first team in addition Price.  Gracie Billings of Marion completed the first team selections.

Alyssa Padilla and Kayla Bollinger of Lebanon, Ale Sydnor of Va. High, Kathryn Perdue of Graham, Amber Kimberlin of Marion, Ginger Short of Richlands and Raelle White and Brooke Rowe of Tazewell completed the second team.

Addie Hurst- Richlands, Gillian Guerriero-Richlands, Madison Lockhart-Virginia, Elle Gunter-Graham, Rachael Rife-Graham, Kaylee Poston-Marion, Meghan White-Tazewell comprised the honorable mention list.
