Austin Parker pitched a five inning no hitter and Jon Davis, Cam Taylor, Ty Larimer and Brayden Fowler led the offense as Tazewell advanced to the Coppinger Tournament finals with a 10-0 win over Richlands April 11.

Parker fanned nine batters, issued just one walk and two errors accounted for the other Richlands base runners.  Davis had a triple, double, walked twice and scored three times.

Taylor and Fowler each had a pair of singles and scored twice and Larimer had a double off the wall and a single.  As a team Tazewell had 11 hits and also took advantage of four Richlands errors.

In the first game of the evening Princeton, a seventh seed, took a 7-0 lead into the fourth inning and held off a Graham comeback.  Cam Cantrell and Tristan Shrewsbury combined to hold the G-Men to five hits.

Chris Spease and Hayden Morgan had base hits and Jon Oster walked to produce a pair of Graham runs in the fourth.  Cole Cline was hit by a pitch and took advantage of a pair of errors to score Graham’s final run.
