A $500 reward is now being offered for information on a Buchanan County man missing for a week.

A press release from the Buchanan County Sheriff’s office said the money is offered for information leading to the whereabouts of Lonnie Wayne Meadows of Jewell Valley. Meadows was reported missing by his family late last week.

He is described as 5’7” tall, 150 lbs, gray hair and green eyes. He was last seen leaving his residence in Jewell Valley. Sheriff Foster states, “Family and friends have not seen or heard from Meadows since the time of his disappearance, and this is very uncommon. My office is investigating the case and is currently following up on tips and leads so that we can find Meadows.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 276-9352313.
