Courthouse poll site

Election officials check in morning voters at the Courthouse Precinct.

By 8:00 this morning over 200 voters had cast ballots at the Courthouse Precinct, located at Floyd County High School.

Election officials there have been busy throughout the morning.

The polls were opened at 6 a.m. and will remain open until 7 p.m.

Voters are reminded to bring a photo ID.

Curbside voting now also includes ballot call, so that voters 65 and over, who are ill or disabled and are driving themselves to the polls, can ring a call bell and receive assistance from an election official and be able to vote in their vehicle.
