Dog Park

Food City will partner with Bristol, Tennessee, to raise funds for a new dog park that will be located behind Virginia Avenue’s Food City.

At Bristol and Blountville area Food City locations from June 8 through July 2, customers can make a $1, $3 or $5 contribution by scanning donation cards at the register. To contribute more, customers can simply add a preferred dollar amount to their total. All proceeds will benefit the Bristol, Tennessee, dog park.

The dog park received a $25,000 Dog Park Dash grant in 2018 to kick-start construction, and the new fundraiser will go toward additional costs. Conceptual drawings for the park include splash pads and play sets for children and play areas for dogs, covering 1 1/2 acres.
