A Marion mother is asking for help locating her son.
Peggy Perkins last saw her son, Roshawn Perkins, on May 24 when he left their home in Marion on foot. The 40-year-old Roshawn has been known to leave the home for long periods of time, she said, but she’s concerned because he left behind important medication and did not tell anyone where he was going that day.
Now, nearly a month has gone by and family members have not heard from him.
Peggy believes her son could have made his way to the Tri-Cities. He’d mentioned to his mother in the past that he might like to live there one day and after a disappearance last year, police located him at a Johnson City hospital.
“I just want to know that he’s ok and that he’s not walking around with nothing,” Peggy said.
A missing persons report was filed at the Marion Police Department on Tuesday.
Roshawn is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair that he often ties back. He has a scar on his forehead and initials P.A.T. tattooed on his upper right arm.
Peggy Perkins and investigators ask that anyone who may have seen Roshawn Perkins or who may have information on his whereabouts to contact the Marion Police Department at 276-783-8145.
