Dogtown Roadhouse welcomes the band Mad Iguanas back to the stage this Friday, July 12. Mad Iguanas are a highly regarded Salem, Virginia based rock and roll band in the tradition of such icons as the Grateful Dead and Widespread Panic. The band is set to take the stage at Dogtown Roadhouse this Friday at 8 pm.

The band has an ever expanding repertoire of both original music and cover material, keeping their live show fresh and exciting. The core of the band, brothers Foster Burton on vocals and guitar and Daniel Burton on bass and vocals, formed Mad Iguanas in 2009 with Charlie Wimmer on drums. The addition of Henry Lazenby playing lead guitar has spurred a further evolution of the Iguanas sound melodically. Mad Iguanas effectively fuse a heavy grooving backbeat with fluid improvisation, creating uniquely diverse live performances.

Saturday, July 13 at Dogtown will see Dixie Breeze Band take the stage. The Hillsville, Virginia based band plays Southern Rock and Country music and definitely fires up the room. The band features Gary Branscome on bass guitar and lead vocals, Rodney Alexander on lead guitar and back-up vocals, Roger Lemons on Drums and lead vocals and Terry Cole on rhythm guitar, lead and Back-up vocals. The show this Saturday night is set to begin at 8 pm.
