CLAYPOOL HILL, Va. — Tazewell County residents will have another fast-food option to scarf down along U.S. Route 460 as a new Hardee’s restaurant plans to open its doors Monday morning.
The restaurant, located at 131 Cedar Hill Lane, will bring 60 new jobs to the county including six managerial positions. Doors will open for the first time at 5 a.m.
Operating hours for the business are 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
“We’re really excited to bring this newest Hardee’s location to Cedar Bluff and the surrounding Tazewell County and Richlands region,” Mike Boddie, president of Rocky Mount, North Carolina-based Boddie-Noell Enterprises, said in a written statement. “As a family-owned company, we look forward to being involved in the community and supporting the growth of the area.”
Seating up to 69 guests, the restaurant will feature a distinctive look with the latest “retro” Hardee’s restaurant design and a digital menu board in the counter area, according to the statement. The restaurant will also feature free Wi-Fi service.
This location is the 346th Hardee’s operated by Boddie-Noell — including around 180 locations in Virginia — which has been a Hardee’s franchise operator for 57 years. The company is the largest Hardee’s franchisee in the United States.
