Lady Blue Devils defeat Fort Chiswell

The Grayson County Lady Blue Devils outscored Fort Chiswell in the second half to defeat the Lady Pioneers 64-57 in a Mountain Empire District girls basketball game played Friday night at FCHS.

The game was close throughout with the Lady Pioneers leading after the first and second quarters, but the Lady Blue Devils grabbed a 43-42 lead at the end of the third quarter and gradually pulled away over the final eight minutes of the game.
