One player from Rural Retreat and three from George Wythe, including the player of the year, were recently selected to the All-Hogoheegee District baseball first team.

The George Wythe varsity baseball team traveled to Buchanan to play in the Region C playoffs Tuesday night and fell to the James River Knights by a 7-3 score.

The George Wythe varsity boys’ soccer team’s regional ambitions were derailed by the Bath County Chargers this past Tuesday night at Pendleton Field.
