Medal manThe number is 24 and counting. That’s the number of medals Trenton Crockett has compiled from the Coventry Commonwealth Games.
Crockett added two more to his collection after competition in this year’s Games. His two events this year were the shot put and the discus throw.
Kenny Peeples Jr. of Rural Retreat did everything that he was supposed to do, but unfortunately a weather forecast for the July 28th scheduled FASTRAK series race forced track officials to postpone the FASTRAK race at Wythe Raceway, thus postponing Peeples chance at a $1,000 Exit 54 Exxon Road to the Nationals bonus until Saturday night, Aug. 4, and that cost him not only the $1,000 bonus, but also a $2,000 payday in the FASTRAK series event.
