Crime down in countyThe annual report “Crime in Virginia” issued by the state police showed the county with 1,069 incidents reported last year. The state police gathered the data and indexes crime based on a population of 100,000. The county’s index for 2006 was 3657.
Paula Bandy’s marketing program sent nine students to the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Fla. They were among 14,000 participants from the U.S., Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Germany.
