The Fort Chiswell varsity baseball team traveled to Narrows on May 2 and picked up a 9-1 victory over the Green Wave. 

The George Wythe boys’ team was first and the GW girls’ team finished second in a three-team track meet held last Wednesday (April 30) at George Wythe High School.

Bland County’s eighth softball win of the season came with a cost. The Bears scored a 4-1 win over Narrows on April 24 but lost pitcher/third baseman Morgan Brizendine in the process
