Prior to the Group A state girls’ doubles championship tennis match at Radford University on June 13 that featured Bland County players Grace Sarver and Kirby Mustard, Bears’ coach Ashleigh Beasley referred to Gate City opponents Tori Bowen and Morgan Taylor as ‘the victims.’
