Grant to allow road access to Big Survey
What’s red and black, with a hint of blue? Answer: a turkey – the inspiration for a new road in Wytheville’s wildlife preservation region.
A grant from the High Mountain Longbeards, Wytheville’s local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, has allowed the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries to improve access to the Big Survey Wildlife Management Area.
