Gene Horney and Maggie Poole have plenty of experience dealing with boisterous groups.
As a school bus driver and a substitute teacher, respectively, Horney and Poole will bring an ability to handle difficult situations to their new roles as members of the Wythe County Board of Supervisors after both were elected to their first terms last week.

Governors win the crowdMusic and politics prove good combination as Governor Tim Kaine and former Governor Mark Warner make a political swing to Floyd County.
