I just wanted to let everyone know that my little brother Chris Voldahl (a floyd county and Virgina Tech Graduate) was in a terrible Car Accident.  On Tueday afternoon, chris flipped his beloved Nissan 300Z several times just outside of Radford VA.  Chris was immediately airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he spent over 5 hours on the operating table.  I live in Baltimore Maryland and I made it to Roanoke before he was released from the OR.  God was watching over my little brother, as he did not sustain any life threatening injuries.  Chris will remain in Roanoke Memorial hospital for a couple of weeks and can be reached at room 927.  He has a long road to recovery, but just that he is alive is a blessing!!!

I just want everyone to know how much I love my little brother, and how hard it was to recieve the call that my brother was airlifted to Roanoke.  I honestly thought for several hours that I would lose him, and the thought of that happening killed me (I don’t know what I would have done).  I am sooo appreciative that his life was sparred and we will continue to enjoy his presence.  This incident has given me a new outlook on life, as we should all appreciate LIFE and each other much more than we do.  The little bumps in life don’t quite seem so important any more.

Wish Chris a speedy recovery..he is in my prayers!!!

I can never explain the pain I saw on your brothers face during the phone call he received notifying him of your accident.  He, your family (including me of course), and your friends love you so very much and grateful that you are okay.
