While watching several video-clips and news-pictures of the ‘Tea(Party) Baggers, I saw several Hate Signs, Pictures of our legally Elected President as a Witch-Doctor, Pictures of our Majority-Elected President as Hitler, Pictures of the Person who holds the Office of Our Commanderer-In-Cheif of The the United States of America as the ‘Joker’ on the Batman Movies—You may be fine with this,
But I want to Protect my Children from Hate and to to Respect Other People.

I even received Tea-Party e-mail encouragement to keep our children home from The President’s speech on education—

As a mother you have the authority to rear your children as you see fit—-TheTeabaggers also have the right to do as they see fit—

But, as a Father and Grandfather, I will not expose my little ones to this Garbage, Brain-wash them nor expose them to only one Party’s View—I try and guide my Children toward their own Religious Belief and CREED, and Do Not Depend on a Political Party or School to Teach my Children their Religious Values—

I Do Not Intend To Offend Anyone on this forum, But if We were honest with Ourselves Most Religion is inherited and decided by Geographical Birth—-What are the Odds you would be Christian if born in China? India? Iran? Beirut? Africa? Mexico? Viet-Nam?,  Israel?  Or in the USA—Baptist, Methodist, Apostolic, Adventist, Mormon, Catholic, Jewish, Church of God, 1st Christian, Presbyterian, Atheist, Agnostic, Holiness,Jehovah’s Witness’s,etc. etc.
—-Now, name the Religions of other Nations—

Each person has a Personal Relationship with God and this should be a PERSONAL CHOICE—Not one decided by,needing explained to or judged by others—-

I think you are right Freddie when we say most religion is inherited.  It is complicated and one person’s belief should not be forced on others.  Hence we have a nation that was supposedly based on religious freedom.

As for the tea parties being about people like me-not really.  I think there are too many corporations and big names involved in the grass roots movement.  There are some people like yourself Wilma who are real grassroots but those people are being used as a front by those big name corporations.  With AFP and FreedomWorks being so active in these groups, the grassroots movement is delegitimized in my eyes.  Who are AFP and FreedomWorks actually trying to help?  I don’t think they are in place to assist the average citizen.  They have to much connection to the very lobbyists who historically worked for business not the little guy.  AFP has brought George Allen in to help them.  When I think of grassroots and the little guy, I don’t think of George Allen or Dick Armey.  I also think that there are many who are active in it solely because of Barack Obama.  When you listen to some of the things said and done, some are opposed to Obama, period.  I question some of the things our government does, but when even encouraging children to stay in school is attacked and twisted into a subversive activity, we have gone to far.  When attacking volunteering as being subversive, we have gone to far. 

We should take a stand and I have been trying.  I won’t stand with George Allen, Dick Armey, or Rick Scott because they don’t really stand with or for us.
