Instead of considering a cut to run away spending the Democrats are hoping to remain true to their core values of tax & spend.

After the midterms, The new Republican majority will have a lot of work to do gutting these worthless programs that have come out of the democrats backside.

Pelosi’s new VAT will just be one more item that needs to be reversed.  Right after the health care.

Obama will sign it if we tie these to his budget.

Obama promised that he and the Democrats would not raise our taxes “one single dime”.  We should have known.  They have been telling that lie for the last fifty years, and every few election cycles, we forget and let them back in office.

It doesn’t take long for them to remind us of why we vote them out.

Dude, the lib Dems want higher taxes so the govt can wipe their noses for them.  I’d like to see this VAT get passed.  The price of every single item on the shelf will increase.  Come on, let’s help out the little guy.  Next, Cap & Trade…more help for the little guy with increased prices of everything on the shelves.  Awesome!  Wait until the inflation hits, then the little guy might finally realize the lib Dem agenda isn’t about him at all; and never has been.

You are correct cc.  Both taxes will increase all costs.  VAT is a tax on all phases of production until it reaches the shelf.
