2012—If you are sincerely interested in sharing the truth and educating each of us here on the forum, WHY would you use a proven DOCTORED Photo of Obama as an Avatar under your member column?? Simple Softball Question—

The hat is an ACORN.  I am merely pointing out the symbiotic relationship Obama & ACORN share.
Only the hat was added.  Obama stuck the cigarette in his own mouth.
There is your answer.

Now would anyone from the left care to educate us on why our representatives, or us, should not be allowed to read a bill that will have a profound impact on our nation?

No problem with reading the bill but simply a sense of irony and disappointment.  The right wing is having a hemorrhage over this supposed attempt to hide something, the left is doing the same over the right doing the “what are you hiding dance”.  Where were all the screams as we spent fortunes on bombing and nation building?  They were yelling about lack of patriotism.  Now the roles are reversed and some in the left are saying where is your patriotism.  It seems to me that the right gets upset if the money goes toward something within the USA or it’s something put forth by the left.  The left is upset if the right is the one attemting to institute change.  Politicians are profitting from these businesses and to imply that it is either right wing or left wing is ridiculous.  As I said, nothing is changing here except the faces of the players.  We might have a few who would really like to do something positive but not enough to make a difference.

Acorn is a diversion to attempt to further the delegitimazation of this administration.  Have they done things wrong-yes.  Are they the worst this country has to offer-not even close.

B.S. 2012—The cigarette was also photo-shopped in—This has been debunked months ago and anyone can check it with a quick Google or search at Snopes—At least try and cover your blatant bias—
I am quite aware of what an acorn looks like—That is not an acorn, but simply the growth top of an acorn—Your feeble attempt to make it resemble a turban impresses No-one—

I found the photo with the cigarette and believed it was him smoking.  He told us all that he does smoke.

The photo with the acorn cap has nothing to do with your paranoid claim of a turban.  I already explained the ties to the fraudulent group ACORN.

Despite the shrill claims of the left, just because people voice legitimate concerns about his dangerous agenda, does not make them a racist.

Nice attempt at a ‘straw man’.

I am making no attempt to hide my bias against those such as Obama who are against American capitalism.

The majority of Americans believe our country is headed in the wrong direction under Obama.  They are correct.

While 35% of women now believe the nation is heading in the right direction, only 26% of men agree. Sixty-seven percent (67%) of men and 58% of women say the country is heading down the wrong track.
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/mood_of_america/right_direction_or_wrong_track

As the poll indicates, after watching Obama and the Democrats in action, voters favor Republicans to take control of Congress.

The new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 43% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 39% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent.
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/mood_of_america/generic_congressional_ballot

Perhaps if the Dems listened to voters they would have a better chance of retaining their “super majorities” in Congress.  Unfortunately they have veered so far to the left that they are no longer to be considered “mainstream”.

Americans are rejecting the liberal’s radical agenda.

I am sorry you appear so bitter and cynical.  Hope you have a great week and feel better real soon!!

2012 WRONG AGAIN, coats were handed by the doctors group to the few who
did not bring a coat.

Which site did you find your information about the lab coats?

Here are several links to mine.

Do you have a link to yours?

Politics: The administration stages a photo-op with handpicked doctors who support its health care reform. Fortunately, most doctors still believe that the first rule of medicine is to do no harm.

It would seem some doctors still make house calls. Some 150 of them made one at the White House Monday in an attempt to give a booster shot to the administration’s chaotic and stalled health care reform drive.

Rather than a grass-roots uprising of physicians, this was a classic case of AstroTurfing.

Attendance was by invitation only, and 40 of the 150 were said to be members of Doctors for America, a reincarnation of the Doctors for Obama arm of the Obama campaign that boasts of having more than 15,000 members.

The physicians were told to bring their white lab coats with them to make sure the TV cameras to capture the proper image. Those who just showed up wearing suits or dresses were provided with lab coats hastily rustled up.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Those-White-Coats-In-The-Rose-ibd-589488372.html?x=0&.v=1&.pf=retirement&mod=pf-retirement

But none of these media outlets mentioned that the White House had to hand out lab coats to a number of the doctors in attendance who showed up in business attire. Apparently trying to drive home the image of medical professionals applauding the President, the White House would not start the press conference until all of the doctors were dressed in the “spiffy” outfits, in the President’s words.

While Obama has failed at leading America, he and his minions have made “misleading” into an art form.

Obama misleading into an art form?  After all of the Cheney and his “minions” speeches carefully crafted to subtlely link Al Qaeda to Irag (done so well that many people today think they are linked) and you think a politician has just turned it into an art form.

The argument about the lab coats is irrelevant-arguments about photo ops prove nothing except that you will complain about anything and everything this President does.  Politicians do photo ops.  What a freakin big surprise!!!!  Make your points about the cost of healthcare-that is valid.  But to harp about everything distorts even the most valid arguments you might make.    You simply want him to fail at everything, not just healthcare, without regard to what it might do in the long run to the country.

I responded to the guys comment about the lab coats.  I merely pointed to where my contention was supported.

When I see Obama putting forth policies that I do not agree with, I intend to voice my opinion.

I do agree that Bush/Cheney did a lot of stupid things.  That doesn’t mean I won’t point to Obama’s shortcomings.

2012—You ‘found’ the picture with Obama and a cigarette and ASSumed it was legit? Without even checking?? Seems this is how you find most of your info—-Since you refer to me as a ‘Straw Man’ , I find that quite appropriate since your ideas seem to resemble the remnants of that straw after it passes thru the digestive system of the Horse—-And as with ccone1, the term Racist seems to have originated with your Posts, Not mine—-You have referred to me as paranoid and racist, bitter and cynical—-You have refused to honestly debate me in an Open and Public Debate—I enjoy discussing different points of view with others but You are a true Limbaugh, Beck, Fox Bimbo and I am sure the fine folks on this forum, and all of America, see you and your type as who you truly are—

I refered to the premise of your comment as a straw man.

Are you back on your FOX News is evil diatribe.  That gets old after a while doesn’t it?  Stand on your own and quit trying to hide behind the fine folks of this forum.

Your views appear out of step with most people on this forum.  My comment about race, was to point out that when people disagree with the lefts agenda they are called racist.  Nice attemmpt at twisting words.  Didn;t work.

As for the photo, you do know Obama is a smoker that raised the cigarette tax on his fellow smokers.

I do not agree with either assertion.

Judging by the VA polls, I am not alone in my beliefs.

YOU DON’T LIVE IN VIRGINIA SO BUTT OUT.

Still don’t like to be troubled by those pesky facts?

You never have stated why our representatives & the voters should not read a bill that will have such an economic impact on everyones lives.

Why?

2012—It may be that no such bill has yet reached finished form—If you are so up to date on such information, why don’t you simply cut-and-paste this info or use your usual tactic of providing a one-sided link to this information?

Are you speaking of the Cap & Trade bill that already passed the House, or the health care bill?

If it’s the health care bill, Pelosi has refused to commit to allowing rpresentatives & voters enough time to read it before putting it to a vote.

Had people not read the last horrible health care bill quick enough, it would have already been passed & awaiting implementation.

I see there is still no answer as to why Obama’s promise to post bills 5 days is not being enforced.

It is our money & health care that is being decided.

If it is a good bill, the voters and representatives will see that and endorse it.

Also, if it is a good bill, why isn’t Congress & the President bound to use it?
