On 16 Jul 2012 talks about “end of life issues” in the health care bill and calls it a “crazy radical
left concept”.  Actually the end of life admendments were INSERTED BY REPUBLICANS, and are
a common sense approach to end of life issues.  2012 simply wants to scare and confuse and
didn’t even know the admendments were written by Republicans.

Here is a question I would love to ask the members of congress who are fighting against the public option:
WHO PROVIDES YOUR HEALTH CARE COVERAGE??  Answer, the Federal Government.
Have you EVER heard a member of congress complain about his health care coverage?????????????? The government must provide his excellant coverage.

Actually, every….yes, I said every member of Congress is independently wealthy. So, they more than likely don’t even use the gov’t plan they are offered but instead have private doctors whom they pay out of their own pockets. If you never use it, what’s not to like? It never ceases to amaze me how someone who has never worked a minimum wage job constantly tells those who have that he/she identifies with them.

“It never ceases to amaze me how someone who has never worked a minimum wage job

One of the main reasons for health care reform is giving minimum wage people a chance for
health coverage, but then there are lots of people who think health care should not be
extended to them

The only problem I have with that argument is that the people who work min wage jobs are either teenagers or adults who choose to get/keep those jobs. McDonald’s and Walmart are not the places to go to work to support a family. I understand that a lot of people have lost their jobs recently and the min wage gig is a temporary thing. But, what about all the people who were in this situation before this economic junk? A lot of the people at whom this legislation is allegedly directed continually make poor choices and then sit around and complain about how they “can’t get ahead.“ Trust me, I know a whole slew of them. I’m not trying to be harsh, but sometimes the truth just ain’t pretty. Perhaps people think that I am one of those people you refer to who “think health care should not be extended to them,“ but that’s far from the truth. I don’t believe in letting anyone be sick, hurt, or even die simply because they don’t have heath coverage. But there has to be a better way to fix the problem than the current proposals.
