My son, Trevor, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, aka Juvenile Diabetes. In September friends and family of Trevor are walking on Team Trevor for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I am asking you to help to raise money for our team walk, it doesn’t have to be a whole lot, $5.00 or less would still be wonderful. Trevor has to take anywhere from 8-10 shots a day and prick his fingers up to 15 times a day. He is a 9 year old little boy. I could not imagine having to go through this as an adult. All he wants is to be a normal, regular kid. Because of his diabetes, he is fearful about going anywhere without me. This includes school field trips, family camping trips, 4-H camp, staying the night at friends houses, etc… the list goes on and on. All in all, he is afraid of doing things that all kids love to do if I am not with him. Please find it in your hearts to donate for such a worthy cause that effects millions of kids in the U.S. alone. To donate you can go to:

or mail a check made out to JDRF to Miranda Reed, 128 Seddon Street, Bland, VA, 24315
Thank you for taking time to read this and God bless you and your family.
