I was disappointed by Sen. Menendez, D-NJ and his assurances to the hispanic special interest group La Raza.  I read the article about the topic and my stomach turned.  Our country is broke, but we are preparing to include free healthcare to illegal immigrants.  I can imagine the traffic jams this will cause at our borders.
I will share a few excerpts and a link to the article.

“And someone from Menendez’ office [Ed.: Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J.] promised that he would make sure that “the useless barriers of citizenship would not be in this bill” and that he would make sure that they would use keywords like ‘streamline’ . . .”

“It was La Raza, the Childrens Defense Fund and Senator Menendez from New Jersey, a representative from his office . . .”

“Yes [they said they would get free health care for illegal aliens], these are my notes, Mark. They actually got up and said ‘Latino children need health care more than whites.’ And then they would say things like ‘you must go out into your communities, use words like “streamline,” use phrases like “all workers” and “all families,”’ because they said—and I quote—‘If the American people find out that this bill is about giving health care to non-citizens, they will rise up against it.’

‘Useless treatments for the elderly can be gone because we don’t need to spend money for people who are going to die anyway.’  I watched Obama, during an interview state that for the elderly, maybe they could be given pain killers and forgo costly surgery.

“And they also said that 75% of the children who will be picked up in this will be non-citizens and that 44% of the uninsured are non-citizens and they can’t possibly allow the American people to know this.

“And La Raza said if they get this, they don’t even care about amnesty, because they’ve fixed it so that one family member can apply for all extended family members. And . . . Mark, if you think we have a problem with illegal immigration now, wait ‘til you see the borders when this thing gets passed.”

I came in this post, expecting something like this…im so tired of selfish people. I agree we need to take care of our own poor first, however, and notice this..The word “children” stands out in my mind particularly, and i dont care one bit where a child comes from, they deserve healthcare.

And i would have read more of that post, but the website made ME sick to my stomach.

Yes we need to take care of our children FIRST, we need to take care of our senior citizens FIRST, in fact
we need to take care of ALL our citizens FIRST.
Our main problem with taking care of our citizens first is people like 2012.  WHO does 2012 want to take
care of first, the INSURANCE COMPANIES of course.

I am quite happy with MY families health care coverage.,..

I don’t want to hand it over to the same people that gave us the “Katrina” debacle, million dollar toilet seats, the SSI debacal, Fanny and freddy mac…..I could go on and on, but you should get the picture…

I believe that the fact is if you like your insurance you keep it.

I am also happy with the insurance coverage I have, so I will keep it.

Yes, what site?  We’ll need to inform the White House.

Actually if you are interested in what is being proposed you need to know which proposal
information is coming from.  I don’t know how many proposals are out there but there are at least
five.  But then again if all you are interested in is saying no you are not interested in where
it came from.

I got an email with this in it but deleted it.  I tried a search but couldn’t find a website with all this info, except for multiple forum posts.  I questioned the information because more often than not, these emails are propaganda manipulations regardless of which political party in power. 

If someone has a link that is not a forum, please share that information.

Nice job deflecting.  Using that type of logic, you would fit in with the politicians or the radio talk show people who throw things out and let others worry about the validity.

No, it is not a deflection, you evidently have a problem with the information posted, SO, YOU, explain WHY it is incorrect..

It should be easy, it even lists page numbers…..
