Recently, we were on I-81 traveling east and decided to take the scenic route through Wytheville.  We really hope that the residents of the area appreciate how clean and neat it is from one end of town to the other, especially the downtown area.  The trees at the crosswalks add a touch of class that shouts out to all….. take a breath of the mountain air !  Hat’s off to the Town of Wytheville Street and Maintance Dept staff for a job well done !

Years ago, who would have thought this sleepy little community would have evolved into what it has become today ?  I certainly didn’t.  Thanks to the vision and determination of the community leaders, all there should be extremely proud of what has taken place over the last 50 years.

Take a moment to appreciate what we sometimes overlook and take for granted !
