I will be acknowledging the passing of Michael Jackson in an upcoming installment of my column “Strictly Observing.“  I read in The Roanoke Times that he performed in Roanoke with the Jacksons in 1979, a time when some of his best work was introduced.  I was curious if anyone from Wythe County or surrounding areas saw this concert and would consent to an interview for my column.  If so, please let me know.  You can e-mail me at and I am most appreciative of any help that can be offered.
