They are “backing” McCain, because they feel he would be more likely to respond to a terrorist attack against the United States than Obama, which they think would “exhaust the United States militarily and economically”.

Obviously you don’t share my concern, but I don’t find it reassuring that Obama already has such a pacifist image that terrorists don’t think he will respond to direct attacks on our country.  They already have no respect for Obama

Looking at polls, very few people share your view.

First, the polls aren’t the final say.  Second, Obama is not leading by a huge margin in the polls.  So when you say “very few people” you obviously meant “nearly half of all registered voters in the United States”.

And who exactly is it that they do have respect for? Oh that’s right, NO ONE. Do you really believe that it matters. Sure they may see Obama as less of a threat but the reality is if they want to attack they’re going to. Look who was president when 9-11 happened.

I’m not buying that ANYONE elected president would not respond to a direct attack on the United States.

So far this week I’ve been told that if Obama is elected we’ll all be picking cotton, seriously a grown man told me this, and someone else told me that he plans to take all of our money and give it to the “welfare bums”. If McCain has a chance at being elected it’s because people like that are going to elect him.

In 2004 they released a tape that ended up helping Bush.  They learned from their mistake and are trying to use reverse psychology.

Larijani: Iran prefers Obama
Iranian parliament speaker says his country is leaning towards Democratic candidate in US presidential election ‘because he is more flexible and rational’.

Translation : Obama is weak and the Iranian nuclear program can continue unchecked.  They can play on his lack of experience, judgement and naivety.
