A 4-year-old Chilhowie girl was killed in a wreck Saturday that left five others injured.
Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Michael Conroy said the girl, Anthony Plummer, was in the 1996 Chevy Blazer driven by Nellie Plummer, 23, when the vehicle crossed the center line of Route 762 between its intersection with Route 739 and Green Hill Market.
The Blazer struck a 2005 Chevy Suburban driven by Gregory Blevins, 46, of Advance, N.C., Conroy said. Three people were in each vehicle, Conroy said.
Conditions for the injured were not available and no charged have been placed in the incident that remains under investigation, Conroy said.
