Former Gov. and would-be U.S. senator Mark Warner (left in photo) stopped in Wytheville on Tuesday for a Skeeter dog and to chat with residents. He’s shown here talking with Rick Street at the popular downtown eatery. Warner, a Democrat, is running against Republican Jim Gilmore, also a former governor, for John Warner’s senate seat.
