Richlands man charged with rape

RICHLANDS – A 21-year-old Kents Ridge Road man is the regional jail following an Oct. 12 incident.
Richlands Police Chief W.A. Puckett said Brandon Keith Jackson of 428
Kents Ridge Road is charged with the rape of a 13-year-old girl. Jackson was arrested by Richlands Police Officers and taken before a magistrate where he was ordered held without bond.
Puckett said Jackson is a suspect in some other rape cases in Richlands and could face three or more additional charges as the investigation continues.
In an unrelated matter, the Richlands Police Department has charged a juvenile with possession of child pornography. Police Chief W.A. Puckett said his officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Kents Ridge Oct. 6 in connection with the incident.
He said an investigation of that matter had been going on since late September with assistance from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force and the Bureau of Criminal Investigations from the Virginia State Police lending assistance.
The juvenile has been released to his parents.

If the powers to be in tazewell co. can not lock this thing away in a dark hole till the end of time, they should tie it to the statue in front of the county courthouse and take a coffee break.
An example must be set so that this never happens again.
The wrong can not be righted but other scum should know the price to be paid if it does!!
