The Associated Press reported that a Georgia McDonald’s worker spent the night in jail because a police officer’s burger was too salty. It was salty enough to make him sick, according to the news report. The woman was charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct.
The 20-year-old asked the question that should have been common sense? If it was too salty, why not take a bite, make a face and throw away the sandwich?
The Associated Press reported that a Union City, Ga., public information officer said the woman was charged because she served food “without regards to the well-being of anyone who might consume it.”
Doesn’t that mean any fast food worker in Georgia is fair game?
