MYRON KENNETH HYLTON
FLOYD-Myron Kenneth Hylton, 86, passed away Saturday May 3, 2008.  He was a member of Burks Fork Church of the Brethren for 61 years, where he served as Deacon and Treasurer for many years.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ulysses & Lillian Hylton, sister, Geneva Hylton, and brother Dale Hylton.
Survivors include: his beloved wife of 61 years. Hazel R. Hylton; sons and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jill Hylton, Phillip Hylton and companion Linda Fisher; sister, Edna Poff; grandchildren, Amanda Poff and husband Terry, James Hylton and wife Valerie, Chris Hylton; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Aiden, Levi, Vanessa, Brian and Travis.
Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m.  Monday, May 5, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Rev. Ralph Duncan and Rev. Mike Varner officiating.  Interment followed at Topeco Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to Burks Fork Church of the Brethren

MELISSA EPPERLY KEENE
ROANOKE-Melissa Epperly Keene, 37, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008.
She is survived by: her husband, Roger A. Keene of Roanoke; mother, Helen H. Epperly of Roanoke; three children, Kenneth Allen Keene, William Whitten Keene and May Helena Angeliegh Keene and one sister, Michelle Dunbar, all of Roanoke.
Graveside service was held at noon on Thursday, May 1, at the Vest Cemetery in Floyd County with Reverend Johnny Howard officiating. Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, handled arrangements.
