DeBord

Robert Campbell DeBord, 74, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Saltville to the late Jesse and Bertha Olinger DeBord. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict and had retired from Southwestern Virginia State Hospital. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, an avid gardener and a dedicated Boston Red Sox fan for more than 60 years.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Sharon P. DeBord; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert DeBord Jr. and Mark and Shannon DeBord; one daughter, Katherine DeBord; one brother, Jimmy DeBord; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Susie Call, Phyllis and Zachary Kurpias and Lilly and Tom Risher; one grandson, Christopher DeBord; one granddaughter, Jennifer Collette and husband, Shon; four other grandchildren, Amber, Stacy, Kelsey and Patrick; five great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the Bradley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Teague officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery with full military honors rendered by the Francis Marion V.F.W. Post #4667. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at http://www.bradleysfh.com
The family received friends Friday evening, July 27, 2007, at the funeral home.

Gailliot

Dr. Robert V. Gailliot Jr., 47, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at his home surrounded by his children, friends, and family. 
He was 47 years old and lost a two-year battle with cancer. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and grew up primarily in Marion. He attended Georgetown Preparatory School in Rockville, Md., received a B.S. degree in chemistry from Emory & Henry College in Emory, and earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa. He completed residency and fellowship training in general surgery, plastic surgery, and hand surgery, and served as chief resident during his general and plastic surgery tenures. His local practice consisted of hand, general, and cosmetic plastic surgery. 
Survivors include his two children, Robert V. Gailliot III and Greta Joan Annette Gailliot; his former wife, Lisa Joan Crews, and her husband, Brett Yeats; his mother, Annette W. Gailliot; his three siblings, Elizabeth M. Gailliot, Ursula Gailliot Koeze, Christopher R. Gailliot; and eight nieces and nephews. 
A resurrection mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church was held Tuesday, July 17, 2007, and a reception at Copper River Country Club. A fall memorial service to be held in Virginia is planned with burial in the Virginia mountains which he loved.

Osborne

Earl F. Osborne, 73, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at his home.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and generally do outdoor activities.  He was also known as a great storyteller and entertained all of his relatives and friends. He was truly a good person. He retired from Copeland Corporation in Sidney, Ohio, after 43 years where he made countless friends by being the generous and wonderful man that he was.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Edna Osborne; sister, Vergie Bordwine; brothers, McKinley and Melvin Osborne; and dear friend, Jr. Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary M. “Nee Buck” Osborne of Meadowview; two daughters, Deb J. Osborne of Columbus, Ohio, and Judy Terry of Sidney, Ohio; three brothers, Roy Osborne, Bill Osborne and Howard Osborne, all of Meadowview; three sisters, Littie Mitchell of Glade Spring, Gladys Osborne of Meadowview and Mary Swob of Sidney, Ohio; granddaughter, Debbie Jordan and husband, Brian, of Oak Hill, Ohio; great-granddaughters, Allysa Jordan and McKaitlynn Jordan, both of Oak Hill, Ohio; several wonderful nieces and nephews; and his devoted dog “Patches.”
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Oquinn and Steve Lester officiating. Burial will follow in the Glade Baptist Cemetery. 
The family received friends Friday evening, July 27, 2007, at the funeral home.

Price

Mildred (Mabe) Price, 75, died Monday, July 23, 2007, in the Mifflin Care Center in Mansfield, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Price Sr.; her parents, Earn Sr. and Pearl B. Mabe; and brothers, Earnest Mabe Jr., Graham “Bee” Mabe, and Ben B. Mabe. 
Survivors include one son, Jack D. Price Jr. of Mansfield, Ohio; one daughter, Vicki Price Bagley of Mansfield, Ohio; one sister, Jane (Mabe) Clear of Saltville; one granddaughter, Michelle Price Schearer; one grandson, Shane Bagley; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were conducted Thursday afternoon, July 26, 2007, in the Mount Rose Cemetery. The Rev. James B. Chapman officiated the ceremony. 
Everyone was asked to meet at the cemetery.
D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville was in charge of arrangements.
