Mike Keith wins for second week in a row at Wythe Raceway

Due to heavy rains early in the afternoon the races at Wythe were cancelled Saturday evening, but were rescheduled for the following night.
Mike Keith of Rural Retreat went to victory lane in the Cook’s Clean Center Super Street Division for the second week in a row. Keith held off Sugar Grove drivers Eddie Bentley and Keith Griffitts. The three drivers at one point went three wide down the backstretch battling for the lead.
Bentley held off charges made by Griffitts in the closing laps for second. Griffitts held on for a solid third place finish. Chad Hale, Wytheville and Guy England, Max Meadows, rounded out the top five.
Mike Johnson, Marion, went to victory lane for the first time this season in the Open Wheel Modifieds. He was followed by current points leader Ron Lawson of Austinville. Atkins driver Michael Davis finished third. Rounding out the top five were R.K. 
Dix, Rural Retreat, and Will Ferguson, Wytheville.
Ty Dillon and Ryan Gifford, both of Lewisville, N.C., took first and second in the Berglund Late Models. This is Dillon’s second win of the season. The current streak of “Young Gun” winners still stands. Clinton Cook of Radford came home with a solid third place run. Cook is also the current points leader over Matt Parks, Wytheville, who finished fifth. Radford’s Randy Kinder posted his best finish of the season coming home in fourth.
The Pro Mini Stock race saw Randy Kincer, Rural Retreat, pick up another victory over Max Meadows’ Doug Monday. Last week’s winner, Gary Rudolph of Fries, finished third. Rounding out the top five were Dix and Brandon Farris, Marion.
Rob Favre of Willis took the Ucar victory of Cody Dutton of Chilhowie. Bland’s Jake Eaton was third. Cole Dutton also of Chilhowie took the Pepsi Hornet victory. Rural Retreat drivers Clark Cooper and Cody Umberger were second and third.
The B & R Tire 200 will feature Twin Pro Mini races this Saturday.

Wythe Raceway Top Five Recap—
Ty Dillon won in Late Models followed by Ryan Gifford, Clinton Cook, Randy Kinder and Matt Parks.
Mike Johnson won Modified race with Ron Lawson, Michael Davis, R.K. Dix and Will Ferguson in fifth.
Mike Keith took the Super Street win. Second through fifth were Eddie Bentley, Keith Griffitts, Chad Hale and Guy England.
Randy Kincer won in the Mini Stock. Second through fifth were Doug Monday, Gary Rudolph, R.K. Dix and Brandon Farris.
Rob Favre won in Ucars and Cole Dutton won in Hornets.
The Ucar top three were Rob Favre, Cody Dutton and Jake Eaton. The Hornet top three were Cole Dutton, Clark Cooper, Cody Umberger.
