Mathis wins all state honors at Group A finals

John Mathis won all state honors in two events at the Group A state track meet at Radford University Saturday. Mathis medaled in the 400 and 200. He also competed in the 200.

Mathis was fifth in the 400 and eighth in the 200. In the girls’ meet, Dehonor Hairston participated in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles and Michelle Rorrer competed in the 300 hurdles.
