Man facing drug charges

Rodney D. Carter Jr., 24, of Wytheville was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute after police executed a search warrant at his residence Tuesday afternoon. The Holston Road resident was released on bond.
According to Wythe County Sheriff Doug King, his officers and the Virginia State Police obtained search warrants for the two residences where Carter spent his time. They discovered between half an ounce and an ounce of marijuana and $3,500 in currency.
The other search warrant was executed at a residence on Chapman Road where Carter was known to have frequented.

WOW !1 Your state and local police derartments just spent a few thousand dollars getting the less than $100 worth of pot off the streets.Tax payers should ask for a refund or at least a police dept that will spend their $ a little more wisely and go after the big guys.Not the petty user.
