JVs fall to Knights

James River broke open a close game with a big sixth inning, beating the Floyd County jayvee baseball team 13-3 at Floyd in a rare Saturday morning game.
The Knights went up 2-0 in the first inning and upped the lead to 4-0 in the second. Floyd got a run from Eli Overstreet in the third.
James River went up 5-1 in the fourth. Mark Harris scored for Floyd in the bottom of the inning. Riley St. Pierre scored the final run for the Buffaloes.
