Jayvee softball team drills Patriots 22-3

The jayvee softball team beat Patrick Henry 22-3 at Floyd Wednesday, April 24. Toshya Overstreet scored to give Floyd a 1-0 lead in the first.
The Patriots scored three runs in the third for a brief.
Overstreet scored and was followed across the plate by Jenna Pendleton and Katie Long for a 4-3 lead.
Krista Cox, Courtney Huff, Carmen Bolt and Shawna Harris scored, then Overstreet, Pendleton and Long added their second runs of the inning. Leanna Mattson finished out the
innings scoring with Floyd up 12-3.
Floyd scored ten runs in the fourth.
