The jayvee softball team scored an easy win, beating Eastern Montgomery 25-1 at Floyd Thursday, May 8 in five innings.
The Buffaloes got only one run in the first but sent 19 batters to the plate in the 15 run second inning. That made the score 16-0.
Floyd scored six in the third for a 22-0 lead. The Mustangs got their lone run in the fourth, with the Buffs responding with three more in the bottom of the inning.

The Buffaloes were edged 6-5 by Glenvar at Floyd Tuesday, May 6. The Highlanders took a 3-0 lead in the first inning.
Jenna Pendleton scored a two out run in the bottom of the inning. Glenvar got a run in the second for a 4-1 lead, and added another run in the third.
In the bottom of the third Shawna Harris walked and Toshya Overstreet tripled. Their runs trimmed the lead to 5-3.
In the sixth Overstreet and Pendleton scored to tie the game. Glenvar got a run off two errors in the top of the seventh.
In the bottom of the inning, Floyd went down 1-2-3.
