Golfers fall to Fort Chiswell

The Floyd County golf team lost a home match to Fort Chiswell Monday, September 15. The Pioneers defeated the Buffaloes 175-196.
Drew White and Tyler Akers tied for medalist honors for For Chiswell, with each shooting a 42 for nine holes. Jeremy Sunshine led Floyd with a 45.

The Buffaloes play the final regular season match today (Thursday) at Fort Chiswell. The Three Rivers District match is September 29 at Draper.
