Gilmore stops in Wytheville

Wytheville Enterprise: News >
Wed Jul 09, 2008 - 09:34 AM

Former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore (left) talks to W.E. Shepard of Crockett on Tuesday during a campaign stop at Wytheville’s Peking Chinese restaurant. Running for the U.S. Senate, the Republican traveled along the Interstate 81 corridor this week on his “Working Families Tour” to spread his message about lowering gasoline prices. Gilmore and Democrat Mark Warner are vying for the seat being vacated by longtime Sen. John Warner, a Republican.

Reader Reaction:

The eggroll has more substance than Gilmore.
