Floyd Ponytails going to state

Floyd County beat Grayson County 2-0 in nine innings to win the Dixie League Ponytails district tournament at Floyd Wednesday.
Floyd advances to the state touranment at Botetourt this week.
Neither team scored until Floyd got runs from Morgan Cox and Aimee Royal in the top of the ninth.
Floyd plays host team Botetourt Friday at 8:00 in the opening round.
