BOBBY C. BOYD
RECLUSE, WYOMING-Bobby C. Boyd, formerly of Floyd, died Friday, April 18, 2008.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Page Boyd, on August 2, 2007.  He was born in Willis on November 11, 1942 to the late Clovis and Roxie (Gallimore) Boyd.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Hanson and her husband Robert, of Richmond; sister, Belva Jean Nunn and her husband John of Roanoke; brother, Curbie Boyd and his wife Joan of Floyd; and two grandchildren, Alexander Boyd Hanson and Samantha Leigh Hanson.  He leaves behind a host of family and good friends from Virginia to Wyoming to cherish his memory.  A memorial service will be held at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, followed by a luncheon.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the charity of your choice.

HAZEL BEATRICE HEARN
FLOYD-Hazel Beatrice Hearn, 88, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008. She is survived by:  daughter, Linda Sue Hearn of Floyd and Four Grandchildren: Cherub, April, Holly and Katy. LARRY EARL SOWERS
FLOYD-Larry Earl Sowers, 52, of Floyd/Christiansburg, passed away on April 23, 2008.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and Marvin Sowers.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Sowers; daughters, Ashley and Brittney Sowers; son, Travis Sowers; granddaughter, Alexis Sowers-Grissom; brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Joan Sowers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Wendall Turpin, Judy and Tommy Scott.  .  A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on April 26 at Open Door Baptist Church, Christiansburg, with Pastor Michael Johnston officiating.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting http://www.hornefuneralservice.com.  The Sowers family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg.
