Buffaloes win regular season golf title

The defending Group A state champion Buffalo golf team completed an unbeaten district schedule, sweeping the other five teams of the Three Rivers District at Hanging Rock in Salem Thursday.
The Buffaloes shot their highest round of the season at 303, but still outdistanced Giles, the district runnerup by more than 20 strokes.
Team scores were Floyd County 303, Giles 325, Glenvar 347, Radford 338, Auburn 393 and Eastern Montgomery 439.
