Blood bank honors the hero

In honor of every fire, police and rescue squad department in the Johnson Memorial Hospital Blood Bank’s five county service area, a special blood and bone marrow drive was held called Operation Silent Hero. The drive took place on Tuesday and many people lent their various tissues to a good cause, including Matthew Neese who donated blood.
