BLOG: mixing it up in Floyd, Va.

We had some technical difficulties this weekend, so you can see our blogs over at Festival blogs. In the meantime, here are a few of the sights from the weekend. Give us a little bit to recover and I promise we’ll get more photos and stories and possibly some video posted in the coming days.

We heard that folks were having trouble with some of the law enforcement agencies along the Blue Ridge Parkway “randomly” pulling over cars. Candice attempts a mediation with two officers.

Before I sign off, many thanks to all the event organizers, especially Mr. Frank Bloom who was a very busy dude this weekend, Tommy and Kristen Bell who were such sweet camping neighbors and didn’t complain a lick all weekend, and the staff of our hometown newspapers including photographer Jean Farley and her assistants Elaine and Paul, my editor Mark Sage who willingly agreed to all this, plus the expertise of WJHL and tricities.com’s Candice Combs. Can’t wait to do it again next year!
