All-Mountain Empire District baseball team is announced

Four players from the Fort Chiswell baseball team were recently named to the All-Mountain Empire District baseball first team.
Selected to the first team from Fort Chiswell were: Blake Musick, Mark Gallimore, Hody Viars and Andrew White.
Also, Fort Chiswell Coach Derrick Jackson was named as the district’s Coach of the Year.
Here are the complete first, second and honorable mention teams:

Player of the Year – Adam Bedsaul of Grayson County.
Coach of the Year – Derrick Jackson of Fort Chiswell.

First team
Outfield – Adam Bedsaul of Grayson County.
Pitcher – Zach Jones of Grayson County.
Catcher – Chris Anders of Grayson County.
Shortstop – Jessup Lambert of Grayson County.
Outfield – Jesse Blizzard of Grayson County.
Utility player – Josh Farmer of Grayson County.
Pitcher – Blake Musick of Fort Chiswell.
First baseman – Mark Gallimore of Fort Chiswell.
Second baseman – Hody Viars of Fort Chiswell.
Third baseman – Andrew White of Fort Chiswell.
Outfield – Josh Pennington of Bland County.
Designated hitter – Todd Nichols of Galax.

Pitcher – Bo Pollard of Grayson County.
